I’m going to start writing for 30-45 min. per day as part of journaling and making the most of my personal (internal) progress during this transformational time in my life. I have some pretty important, if not profound, revelations that I think it would be helpful to keep track of, and maybe make those thoughts carve deeper courses in my mind. And if anyone else ever reads this, well maybe they’ll get some benefit from it, too.
I’ve been doing a gym thing more often. Trying to go every morning before 7 AM, alternating cardio and strength training (which still leaves me too sore to actually do it half the week). The cardio is actually becoming something I very much look forward to, as I seem to get some level of “runner’s high” and it also is guilt-free time to listen to music, an audiobook, or watch some YouTube.
In recent mornings, I started listening to So Good They Can’t Ignore You by Cal Newport, which is definitely fitting for where I’m at right now in terms of “finding myself” and my career.
Nevermind… I got distracted reading a blog about building businesses and finance. Not sure how legitimate it is, but it got me inspired. I need to work on building something. Just for later notation, I was going to write something about the interview with Jerry Seinfeld I watched earlier. Which was inspiring, but now it’s time to actually do some work.
More tomorrow.
